Fees

My fee varies based on the type of treatment and length of session. To make therapy more accessible, I offer a sliding scale and am happy to discuss options based on your needs.

Insurance

I do not currently accept insurance. This allows me to maintain a smaller caseload, provide more individualized care, and avoid restrictions on the length or scope of therapy. It also helps protect your confidentiality by keeping sensitive information from being shared with insurance companies.

As an “out-of-network” provider, I can provide a monthly statement (Superbill) for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your specific plan. All payments are your responsibility and are due at the time of service.

No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimate

The No Surprises Act ensures that health care providers, including mental health professionals, inform clients about their right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. This applies to individuals who are uninsured, not using insurance, or not filing claims with their insurance. Providers are required to share this information both verbally and in writing and to provide an estimate of costs when services are scheduled or upon request.

You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services, including related fees such as medical tests, prescriptions, or equipment. The estimate must be provided in writing at least one business day before your appointment. If you receive a bill that exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you can dispute the charges.

Be sure to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact your provider.
